It was that men like Isaiah and Kyrie Thomas would just get loaded on layups. Even though they had high ratingsthey played such as scrubs because they could not be made to play like their real life counterparts. Adding a few of the badges that were completing, while occasionally unrealistic, made them actually play like they are supposed to and separated them from actual scrubs which were a little taller that were better. I really do agree that some badges need tuning. There are plenty of times where rim protectors like Rudy Gobert don't block a layup but they change the shot in the rim of getting blocked through the fear.

Sometimes he along with other good rimprtecting men in the NBA just kind of fake as though they're going to leap up and block, but they don't because they know they should still shield other men right under the hoop, but fake will mess up the man with the ball a little bit. But yeah usually that only works when the man is a center known for blocking shots. You fake help defense to get the ball handler to generate a bad choice tho not to change the shot, you're just hoping to make them pick up their dribble and make shot or a bad pass. Smart players will not bite on this. Since there's not any counterplay for this, intimidator is a mechanic, it nerfs the area around the rim.
